How to use the glossary

• Consult an index which displays all entries on one page
• Search for specific entries (Example: Präpositionale Fügung)

Wildcard Search

For complex queries so-called wildcard-characters can be used. A *represents an arbitrary number of characters, a ? represents a single arbitrary character. The query Umlaut* returns the database entries Umlaut, umlauten, Umlautung as search result. The query *form returns, e.g. Befehlsform, Grundform, Lautform

The system does not distinguish between upper- and lowercase characters.
