Verbs can be divided into different inflection classes. The Inflection Dictionary indicates for each verb the inflection class it belongs to.
Different inflection classes have partly different inflection patterns in the various tenses and moods. These inflection patterns are presented in inflection tables. In the description of an inflection class, links lead to the corresponding inflection table that shows how the verbs belonging to this inflection class are conjugated.
Under the heading "Features" various characteristics of verb inflection affecting only certain sub-groups of verbs are explained. Very often these phenomena are connected with the pronunciation and accentuation of the word forms.
When a verb in the Inflection Dictionary or in an inflection table is affected by one of these features, a link to the corresponding description is displayed.
